What is UV printing?
UV printing is a digital inkjet process where liquid ink is jetted onto the badge surface and instantly cured (hardened) by ultraviolet LED light. Because the ink dries on contact rather than soaking in, colors stay crisp and the finish is scratch- and fade-resistant.
What makes UV printing good for badges?
It prints full CMYK color plus white ink, so logos look correct even on clear, metal, or dark materials. It can also lay down multiple ink layers to create a raised, tactile texture. Fine text and gradients reproduce cleanly.
Is UV printing durable?
Yes. The cured ink film resists everyday scratching, moisture, and UV fade far better than standard inkjet or paper inserts, which is why it suits badges worn daily.
