Privacy Policy

1.1 This Privacy Policy applies to personal information that Name Badges, LLC (the "Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects through the website located at www.namebadge.com and its related pages, design tools, and services (the "Website"), and through your orders and communications with us.

1.2 "Company," "we," "us," and "our" include Name Badges, LLC and the other websites and brands it operates that expressly link to this Privacy Policy, including Stickerine.com. This Policy does not apply to any company or website that does not link to it, and linking to this Policy does not, by itself, bind any future or separately acquired company that has not adopted it.

2.1 Account information. When you create an account or place an order, we collect personal information including your name, email address, phone number, company or organization name, and shipping and billing addresses. This information is necessary to fulfill your orders and provide customer support.

2.2 Order and design information. We collect information related to your orders, including badge and product designs, text content, uploaded images and logos (your Customer Content, as defined in the Terms of Service), product selections, quantities, and order history, which is necessary to manufacture and deliver your custom products.

2.3 Payment information. When you make a purchase, your payment is processed by our third-party payment processor, which is PCI DSS certified. We do not store, process, or have access to your full credit or debit card number, card expiration date, or CVV on our servers. We may retain limited reference data — such as the last four digits of your card, the card type, and the associated billing address — for order reference and fraud prevention.

2.4 Browsing and device data. When you visit the Website, we automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, referring URL, pages visited, time spent on pages, and similar usage data, through cookies, server logs, and analytics tools.

2.5 Email interaction data. If you receive marketing or transactional emails from us, we may collect data about your interaction with them, such as whether an email was opened, which links were clicked, and the time of interaction, to improve our communications.

2.6 Communications. When you contact us by email, phone, live chat, or our contact form, we retain the content of those communications, along with your contact information, to provide support and maintain a record of our interactions.

3.1 Order processing and fulfillment. To process, manufacture, ship, and deliver your orders, and to send order confirmations, shipping notifications, and delivery updates.

3.2 Customer service and support. To respond to your inquiries, resolve issues, process returns or complaints, and provide technical support for our design tools and products.

3.3 Marketing communications. Subject to applicable law and any consent or opt-out requirements, we may use your contact information to send marketing communications, including abandoned-cart reminders, reorder reminders, in-checkout follow-ups, promotional offers, new-product announcements, recommendations, and company updates. Because NameBadge.com and Stickerine.com (and other Company-operated brands) are operated by the same company, these communications may relate to, or be sent from or on behalf of, any Company-operated brand, where permitted by law; we identify the sending brand in each marketing message. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you may opt out at any time. When you opt out of marketing, we apply your opt-out across the Company-operated brands that share our marketing systems, so your choice is honored regardless of which brand's message prompted it. Where separate consent is required for a particular channel — such as text/SMS messages or certain targeted advertising — we rely on that channel's own consent and opt-out mechanisms, and placing an order is not by itself consent to that channel.

3.4 Website improvement. To understand how visitors use the Website, identify areas for improvement, optimize our design tools, and enhance the user experience.

3.5 Tax calculation and compliance. To calculate applicable sales tax based on your billing and shipping information, we may share that information with a tax-calculation provider for that purpose.

3.6 Fraud prevention and security. To detect and prevent fraudulent orders, protect against unauthorized access, and maintain the security and integrity of the Website.

3.7 Legal compliance. To use and disclose information as required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Name Badges, LLC, our customers, or others.

4.1 We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration.

4.2 Disclosures for advertising and analytics. We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies from analytics and advertising providers, and in doing so we may disclose online identifiers, device information, and information about your activity on the Website to those providers. Where applicable law defines this activity as a "sale," "sharing," or processing for "targeted advertising" or "cross-context behavioral advertising," we disclose it as such and provide the opt-out described in Section 9. See also Section 6.

4.3 Service providers. We disclose personal information to third-party service providers that perform functions on our behalf, as described in Section 5.

4.4 Corporate and legal disclosures. We may disclose information in connection with the business transfers and legal situations described in Section 15.

4.5 With your direction. We may share information at your request or with your consent.

5.1 We work with third-party service providers that help us operate our business and generally receive only the information reasonably necessary to perform their function. These providers fall into categories that may include: payment processing; fraud prevention; shipping and fulfillment; tax calculation; cloud hosting, storage, and infrastructure; security and content delivery; analytics; advertising; email delivery; customer relationship management and customer service; live chat; error monitoring; professional advisers; and legal and compliance services. Examples of providers we use include Stripe (payment processing), Amazon Web Services (cloud hosting and storage), Cloudflare (security and content delivery), and Google Analytics (analytics); the specific providers we use may change over time.

5.2 We direct our service providers to use the personal information we make available to them only to perform services for us, and we seek to limit their use accordingly. We do not represent that every provider is contractually barred from every other use. Some providers — particularly analytics and advertising providers — may act as independent controllers of information they collect directly through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies and may use that information for their own purposes under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review those providers' privacy policies for information about their practices and the choices they offer, and see Sections 6 and 9 for the controls available to you.

6.1 What cookies are. Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit; they help sites function, improve the user experience, and provide information to site owners. We also use related technologies such as pixels, tags, and similar identifiers.

6.2 Categories of cookies and technologies we use. We use technologies that generally fall into these categories: (a) essential — strictly necessary for the Website to function, such as maintaining your cart, keeping you logged in, and protecting against cross-site request forgery; (b) functionality — remembering your preferences; (c) analytics and performance — understanding how visitors use the Website; (d) advertising and marketing — measuring and delivering promotions and, in some cases, targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising (for example, tools provided by Google and Meta); and (e) fraud and security — helping detect and prevent abuse. Essential cookies cannot be disabled without impairing core functionality.

6.3 Your controls. You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of advertising cookies as described in Section 9. Where we are required to obtain consent for non-essential cookies, we do so, and where an opt-out applies, we honor it. Disabling analytics and advertising cookies does not affect your ability to browse or purchase.

7.1 We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect personal information, such as transmitting Website traffic over encrypted connections (HTTPS), relying on a PCI-certified processor for card payments so that we do not store full card numbers, and using security and monitoring tools to help detect and prevent unauthorized access.

7.2 No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Our responsibilities and liability in connection with any data or security incident are also subject to our Terms of Service, and nothing in this Policy or the Terms waives any right you cannot waive under applicable law.

7.3 In the event of a data or security incident affecting personal information, we will provide any notice required by, and otherwise act in accordance with, applicable data-breach notification law.

8.1 Access and correction. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and you may update or correct your information by logging into your account or contacting us at support@namebadge.com.

8.2 Deletion. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information. We may retain certain information as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in Section 11, including legal, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention, and security purposes.

8.3 Marketing opt-out. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, and you may also opt out by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not affect transactional messages (such as order confirmations and shipping notifications), which are necessary for order fulfillment. If we offer text/SMS messaging, you may opt out of it using the instructions provided in those messages.

8.4 Cookies and advertising. You may manage cookies through your browser settings (Section 6.3) and opt out of advertising "sale"/"sharing" as described in Section 9.

8.5 Do Not Track. There is no universally accepted standard for responding to browser "Do Not Track" signals, and at this time we do not respond to them; however, we honor recognized opt-out preference signals where required by applicable law, as described in Section 9.

8.6 How to submit a request. Submit any request to support@namebadge.com or call (800) 243-9227. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9.1 Conditional application. Several U.S. states have enacted consumer privacy laws. If, and to the extent, one of these laws applies to our processing of your personal information, you may have some or all of the following rights, subject to that law's conditions and exceptions: to know or access the personal information we have collected; to request correction; to request deletion; to obtain a portable copy; to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information and of processing for targeted advertising; and to appeal a decision on your request where the law provides an appeal. The specific rights available to you depend on your state of residence and on whether the applicable law's thresholds are met; the description of a right in this Policy does not mean a particular statute applies to us or to you.

9.2 Opt out of "sale"/"sharing" and targeted advertising. As explained in Sections 4.2 and 6, we do not sell personal information for money, but our use of analytics and advertising cookies may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or processing for "targeted advertising" or "cross-context behavioral advertising" under some state laws. To opt out, you may: (a) where your browser or device transmits a recognized opt-out preference signal (such as Global Privacy Control) and applicable law requires us to honor it, we will treat that signal as an opt-out for that browser or device to the extent required; or (b) contact us at support@namebadge.com. You may also manage cookies through your browser settings, but doing so may not stop all disclosures that constitute a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.

9.3 Sensitive information. We do not seek to collect information that these laws define as "sensitive," and we do not use or disclose such information for purposes that would trigger a separate right to limit its use under applicable law. If you believe you have inadvertently provided sensitive information to us, you may contact us at support@namebadge.com and request that we delete it, and we will do so except where retention is required or permitted by applicable law.

9.4 California. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, provides the rights described above where it applies. In the preceding twelve (12) months, the categories of personal information we have collected are described in Section 2 and generally include identifiers, commercial information, internet and other electronic network activity, and inferences; the sources, purposes, and categories of recipients are described throughout this Policy. California residents may exercise rights, including the right to opt out of "sale"/"sharing," as described in Sections 8 and 9.2, and may use an authorized agent with proof of authorization.

9.5 Authorized agents. Where applicable law allows, you may use an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on your behalf. Your agent should contact us at support@namebadge.com and provide proof of written authorization (or, where applicable, a valid power of attorney). We may still ask you to verify your own identity directly or to confirm that you authorized the agent, to the extent applicable law permits.

9.6 Voluntary choices. Where we extend a privacy choice or right more broadly than a law requires, we do so as a matter of Company policy and not as an admission that any particular law requires it.

9.7 How to exercise. To exercise any state privacy right, contact us at support@namebadge.com or (800) 243-9227. We will respond as required by applicable law. We may verify your identity where permitted and appropriate for the type of request, but will not require identity verification for an opt-out request where prohibited by law.

10.1 The ownership of, license to, representations and warranties about, prohibited-content rules for, indemnification relating to, and copyright and other complaint procedures for content you upload (your "Customer Content") are governed by Section 8 (Customer Content and Intellectual Property) and Section 9 (Copyright and Other Complaints) of our Terms of Service, which are the authoritative and controlling statement on those subjects. In the event of any conflict between this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service regarding Customer Content or intellectual property, the Terms of Service control.

10.2 For privacy purposes: Customer Content that contains personal information (for example, an employee's name or photograph on a badge) is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy — we use it to design, produce, fulfill, replace, and support your orders, and we do not sell it for money. Consistent with Section 8.3 of the Terms of Service, we will not publicly display your Customer Content, offer it as a template to other customers, or use it in our own marketing or promotional materials, without your permission, except for content consisting solely of our own design elements. Retention of Customer Content is described in Section 11.

11.1 Retention standard. We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected — including fulfilling and supporting your orders and reorders, maintaining your account, and providing customer service — and for additional periods as needed to comply with our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, to resolve or prevent disputes, to detect and prevent fraud and protect security, to enforce our agreements, and for other legitimate business purposes. Where a specific legal retention period applies, we comply with it, and we do not retain personal information for longer than reasonably necessary for these purposes.

11.2 Account and order records. We retain account information while your account is active and retain order, invoice, and transaction records for the periods required by applicable tax, accounting, and legal-compliance obligations and as needed for dispute resolution.

11.3 Uploaded designs and images. We retain Customer Content while your account is active to allow reorders and design access. After account closure, uploaded designs may be deleted, though residual copies may remain in backups for a limited period.

11.4 Marketing suppression. When you unsubscribe or otherwise opt out of marketing, we honor your request within ten (10) business days, consistent with the CAN-SPAM Act, and we apply it across the Company-operated brands that share our marketing systems. We may retain a suppression record so that we can continue to honor your opt-out.

11.5 Analytics and support records. Browsing and analytics data is retained in accordance with the settings and policies of the applicable analytics providers, and customer-support records are retained for a reasonable period to provide continuity of service.

12.1 Age requirement. The Website is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our services are intended for businesses, organizations, and adults purchasing custom identification products.

12.2 Parental notice. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete it as promptly as reasonably possible. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided personal information may contact support@namebadge.com.

13.1 We are committed to improving the accessibility of the Website for people with disabilities, and we work toward meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA level and applicable provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

13.2 Accessibility is an ongoing effort; while we make commercially reasonable efforts, we cannot guarantee that every page or feature is fully accessible at all times, and we prioritize remediation of identified barriers.

14.1 U.S.-based operations. Name Badges, LLC is based in the United States, and our servers, databases, and service providers are located in or accessible from the United States. If you access the Website from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those of your country.

15.1 Business transfers. We may disclose or transfer personal information in connection with, or during negotiations of, a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, restructuring, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our assets or business, or similar transaction, including related due diligence. Information may be among the assets transferred.

15.2 Legal and protective disclosures. We may access, preserve, and disclose personal information when we believe in good faith it is necessary or appropriate to comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal process or governmental request; to enforce our agreements; to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Name Badges, LLC, our customers, or others.

16.1 We may update, modify, or replace this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" and "Effective" dates above.

16.2 For material changes that significantly affect how we use or share your personal information, we will make reasonable efforts to provide additional notice, such as by posting a prominent notice on the Website or emailing the address associated with your account.

16.3 Your continued use of the Website after changes take effect indicates your awareness of the updated Policy.
